Leaked materials give us a sneak peek at the EVO 4G LTE marketing campaign, suggest a May 18 release
This morning we're getting a first look at what the promotional blitz for the upcoming EVO 4G LTE will look like, courtesy of the fine folks over at Good and EVO. In addition to the packaging for Sprint's next flagship seen above, the website also got its hands on a few marketing images which tout the device's ImageSense-powered camera and built-in Beats Audio. Along with the leak comes some information about a release date, too: the next EVO will launch on May 18 with a $199.99 price tag, with preorders beginning on May 7, the website says.
Sure, leaks like this aren't set in stone, but based on the quality of material, we're going to go ahead and hope that this source knows what they're talking about. We'll continue to keep our ears to the ground; as we all patiently wait, check out the EVO 4G LTE marketing materials below.

Another Crowdfunding Player Enters The Fray: Apps Genius Launches GetFunded.com
This may not have been the U.S. government’s exact intention when when it passed the crowdfunding-friendly JOBS Act, but you have to wonder if it has also jumpstarted the number of crowdfunding sites out there competing for entrepreneurs’ and consumers’ attention. The latest comes from the social and mobile games developer Apps Genius — (in)famous for its scatological riff on Angry Birds, “Angry Turds” — which today announced that it is launching a new crowd-sourced funding site, GetFunded. Like Kickstarter and many others, GetFunded will be a “crowdfunding platform for entrepreneurs who are seeking new investments in their businesses and ideas,” according to a statement from App Genius. Adam Kotkin, the CEO of Apps Genius, clarifies that just because his company is focused on games, this doesn’t mean that GetFunded will be, too: it’s aiming for everyone and everything. He tells me the site will be launched in the coming weeks.

RIM’s first BlackBerry 10 device may come as early as October
It’s no secret that there’s currently a sense of urgency in Waterloo, but if a recent report from N4BB is accurate, it seems that both consumers and enterprise are bound to benefit. According to the site’s confidential source, Research in Motion is preparing to reveal its first BlackBerry 10 device in mid-August and will have the product in the hands of consumers by October. We’d previously known that RIM intends to have these units in the hands of developers next month, which gives a bit of credence to this most recent revelation. As for what consumers may expect, the first device is said to offer just a touchscreen, whereas we’ll need to wait until Q1 of next year to see a handset with a physical QWERTY keyboard. As you’ll recall, the company’s previous leader, Mike Lazaridis, previously stated that consumers wouldn’t see a BlackBerry 10 device until the end of the year, but this was due entirely to a shortage of the chipset that RIM deemed crucial to its manufacture. Perhaps Mr. Heins was able to light a bit of a fire under the company’s partners, no?

Ashton Kutcher: 4 Women In 4 Days!
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may have just gone on a short trip together, but if the actress is smart she will be careful, as many claim Ashton’s all too eager to move on from his split with Demi ? and on, and on, and on. ?Ashton is single and feels he can date as many women as he wants,? a friend of the 34-year-old explains to In Touch.
On one wild weekend, In Touch can exclusively report that the bawdy bachelor hooked up with not one, not two, not even three, but four hot girls! After a rebound romance with producer Lorene Scafaria and a sexy sleepover with Rihanna in March, Ashton arrived at a Passover bash at the Kabbalah Centre in New York on April 12 with another beauty on his arm. The next night, he was spotted seducing two young blondes at Mister H in the Big Apple?s Mondrian SoHo hotel.
Then, two days later, the star shared a sushi date with his former That ?70s Show co-star Mila Kunis at Asanebo in LA. ?Ashton was getting very touchy-feely with her,? a pal says. ?He was grabbing her hand the whole time.?
But while the other women were just one-night stands for the newly minted player, the pal swears that Mila is different. ?Ashton?s always had a crush on her,? the pal admits of the ex-castmates, who began working together on the hit sitcom as teens. ?But Mila had a serious boyfriend.? When Mila broke up with Macaulay Culkin ? and Ashton?s marriage crumbled ? Ashton told Mila that he was going through a tough time and needed a friend. Soon, the pair were talking regularly ? and while Ashton hopes to take things to the next level with Mila, the pal says right now men are not her priority.

Jennifer Hudson Exits Courtroom in Wake of Disturbing Photos
A day after taking the stand in the murder case against William Balfour – and breaking down when a photo of her mom was presented – Jennifer Hudson couldn’t handle being in the same room with the man accused of killing her relatives.
Witnesses tell TMZ Hudson excused herself from the legal proceedings when prosecutors pulled out crime scene photos of Jennifer’s seven-year old nephew Julian, who was allegedly shot by Balfour in a fit of rage.
He is also on trial for murdering Hudson’s mother and brother.
David Otunga, Jennifer’s fiance and the father of her son, remained inside the courtroom after Hudson departed and, insiders say, jotted down notes about the crime scene. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Jennifer and her family.

PSA: Sprint’s LTE-infused Galaxy Nexus now available online and in stores
Google itself may have thrown the pricing situation out of whack by offering up a contract-free GSM version of Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus for just $399, but those adhering to Sprint’s plans can’t make use of that, anyway. The other CDMA / LTE-infused Galaxy Nexus is now shipping from Sprint, several months ahead of its first LTE rollout. $199.99 on a two-year contract nets you a device, while you can snag one for $549.99 sans any strings. It’s also available in stores nationwide for those who’d prefer to try before they buy, and yes, Sprint users who activate a Google Wallet account within a week of activation will receive a $10 instant credit and an additional $40 within three weeks. Just try to ignore that Galaxy S III that’ll launch next month, okay? (It’s not a pure Google device, anyway.)
